After breakfast, leave for San Francisco El Alto, in route we will visit Cantel, Zunil and Almolonga.  Zunil is famous for the regional dress which is made there and Almolonga and its market of vegetables, in route we are going to visit the original small town of Saint Andres Xecul to admire its church.

Early a morning boat ride across the  Lake to San Pedro La Laguna, few sights in the world can equal the majestic beauty of the sun rising over Lake Atitlan, surrounded by several volcanoes , the towns themselves hugging the shoreline.

Morning transfer to Chichicastenango to visit the largest open air market in the country. The world´s most colorgul market.  A church built on an ancient Mayan temple a glimpse of Guatemala´s religious history, the unique symbiosis of the Mayan rituals and Catholic ceremonies.

After breakfast we will visit once the capital of Guatemala, the most beautiful colonial City, was declared World Patrimony by UNESCO, Guatemala´s Culture and tradition in the most beautiful setting.

Departure to Las Verapaces The departments of Alta and Baja Verapaz are the birthplace of real adventure, rafting, caves, beautiful crystal water pools, tubbing, and eco-tourism in Guatemala, on the way visit The Biotopo del Quetzal (ecological reserve) you can walk around the hotel and will find bambu plantation and rivers and see crystal water pools.

Continue to Chisec for visit Candelaria Cave National Park it´s a system of caves and underground rivers considered one of the largest and most impressive in Latin America.  Thirty kilometers in length you can visit either by walking or tubing along the river. More adventurous visitors will want to slide, floating on an inner tube, through the rapids formed by a rock canyon which speeds the river.

Early morning continue by Sayaxche.   Transfer by pick up or small truck for visiting the archaeological site of Ceibal, the stelaes shows both cultures (Mayan & Toltec) living in harmony during the late classic period.  In the afternoon you will take a boat ride to navigate by Pasion River.

Early morning transfer to Tikal Nacional Park for a complete tour to The Great City of Tikal, you will visit the Main Plaza, The Central and Northern Acrópolis, the Temple IV, the Ball Court and other temples and Pyramids.

Today a morning departure to Rio Dulce by bus. Continue the trip by boat through the Rio Dulce, traveling along the waterways and over jungle paths, you will have the opportunity to observe and photograph the beautiful and varied species of exotic flora and fauna and sea birds.
